Toy Soldiers

Mission

Our mission is to serve the Lord by using our God-given talents to create toys for children, and then giving them to children in need.

Purpose

• The purpose of our group is to create a God-honoring and supportive environment for the members, so that they will feel encouraged to design and build toys for children.
• The Toy Soldier Ministry will serve as a support to other ministries within our local church body, specifically, Prison Ministry Fellowship, AWANA, and Christian Education.­ 
• The Toy Soldier Ministry donations will also be given to other ministries who provide for children in need.

Ministry

• The Toy Soldier Ministry provides hand-crafted wooden toys to children in need, and it presents these gifts in the name of Jesus Christ, who gave us the gift of salvation.
• This ministry will facilitate wonderful fellowship and opportunities for Bible study and devotions, as well as mentoring and teaching the young men and women of the church.

Activities

• Toy making in groups/individually
• Bible studies and devotions
• Sharing of patterns and techniques
• Mentoring and teaching opportunities with the young men and women of the church and community
• Outreach to pediatric hospital units, urban ministries, and prison ministries.
