Our Mission Statement

The Mission of each Deacon serving Shadow Mountain Community Church is to:

• Serve Christ and the members of SMCC.
• Maintain the lines of communication between the staff of SMCC and the members.
• Keep track of our constituency and help them with their needs... spiritual, financial, physical, or emotional.
• Be a good spiritual leader in his home and in the church, recognizing that the ultimate and perfect example to follow is Christ Jesus.

Who we are

Deacons are just plain men, saved by the blood of Christ, who have a servant's heart for Christ.

Deacons serve for a term of three years, or less if they serve in a replacement capacity for a retiring deacon.

Deacons take the time to study God's Word, to spend time with God in prayer daily, to remember their flock's needs and requests, to fullfil their deacon duties with the attitude of doing all things for Christ.
