Welcome to Global Teams!

Our goal through Global Teams is to help our church family connect with God's heart for the nations by partnering with Shadow Mountain missionaries on short-term mission trips. Global Teams provide opportunities to assist our missionary partners with ministry projects. Each trip is unique, focusing on different destinations, cultures, and types of ministry (you may serve on a medical mission in Mexico, build a cabin for a Christian youth camp in Albania, or lead a soccer ministry in Zambia!). What all of our teams have in common, however, is the desire to learn, serve, and share the love of Christ. Check out our upcoming short-term teams and join the right one for you.

Some Of Our Favorite Moments of 2023

Albania Construction Team

In April, our team of 10 people transformed a shipping container into a cabin for Legacy Hill, a Christian camp in Korce, Albania. This cabin makes it possible for ten more kids to attend camp each week of summer camp for many years to come!

Israel - CHS

In May, 17 high school students and teachers worked on service projects at  Baptist Village in Petah Tikva, Israel. Baptist Village is a Christian conference, camp, and sports center whose vision is to provide a gathering place for believers in Israel.

Zambia

In July, 35 adults and students served in Livingstone, Zambia. One of the team's ministries was hosting a conference that equipped 50 pastors with the Jeremiah Study Bible. For many of these pastors, this is their entire library of Bible study materials as they lead their congregations.

Albania Summer Camp

Also in July, a team of 7 camp counselors traveled back to Legacy Hill in Korce, Albania, to two weeks of youth summer camp. Among 140 middle and high school students, many decided to receive Christ or rededicate their lives to Him.

 Peru

In August, a team of 7 joined Su Refugio ministries in Lima, Peru, to assist in outreach to orphans and widows, sharing the Gospel, and meeting physical needs by distributing meals, shoes, and reading glasses.
