Associate of Biblical Studies in Leadership Transfer to Southern California Seminary Bachelor of Arts Degree
Students planning to transfer to Southern California Seminary need to begin the application process to Southern California Seminary and obtain the Southern California Seminary Catalog to answer questions and determine eligibility as they enter EBI. The Associate of Arts degree and the Bachelor of Arts degree will not be conferred until all program requirements have been completed. Call 619-201-8959 to begin the application process to Southern California Seminary.
General Requirements
You must meet the following general graduation requirements to qualify as a candidate for a Bachelor of Arts in Biblical Studies degree (See “Getting Started” in the Southern California Seminary Catalog).
- Earn a high school diploma or GED.
- Apply and meet the acceptance requirements of Southern California Seminary.
- Complete the outgoing Bible knowledge assessment.
- Complete the undergraduate program curriculum required by the governing Southern California Seminary Catalog.
- Complete the Southern California Seminary program curriculum with not less than a 2.0 GPA.
- Submit a petition to graduate to the Registrar by the deadline in the Academic Calendar.
- Settle all financial obligations and pay the Southern California Seminary graduation fee.
- Meet any degree-specific requirements stated in the program description of the governing catalog.

Graduation Instructions
Hello future graduate of Equip Biblical Institute!
1. Pick up your cap and gown regalia in the Choir Room at Shadow Mountain Community Church on May 23, at 7:30 am. You may print your own Graduation announcements from the EBI website.
2. Schedule for graduation two-day celebration, Friday and Saturday, May 21 and 23:
May 21 at 6:30 pm—attend the Graduate and Alumni Banquet (2 hours).
May 23 at 7:30 am—Pick up caps and gowns for Graduation.
May 23 at 8:00 am—attend Rehearsal for Commencement Ceremony.
May 23 at 9:00 am—Faculty photos.
May 23 at 10:00 am—Commencement Ceremony begins.
3. Cap and Gown regalia must be returned immediately after Graduation! You may keep the tassel.
The Commencement Ceremony will be held in Worship Center of Shadow Mountain Community Church at 2100 Greenfield Drive in El Cajon, CA 92019.
The Graduation Banquet will be held in the basement of the Shadow Mountain Children’s Building at 2100 Greenfield Drive in El Cajon, CA 92019. There is a large dining room on the bottom level. There will be a complete program for the banquet.
