Dr. Gary Woods is an internationally recognized educator with an earned a Doctor of Education in Technology and Learning from Alliant International University. EBI has been instrumental in providing higher education opportunities to thousands of students in the US, Latin America, and Asia.
On August 20, 2018, Dr. Woods received a Californian Senate Resolution honoring his leadership and service at Grossmont and through EBI International Leadership Institutes. "Dr. Gary Woods embodies the best attributes of educational leadership, and his innovative guidance has greatly assisted the GUHSD in advancing hits mission and preparing students for higher education and careers in the twenty-first century." Member Resolution No. 719 by the Honorable Joel Anderson, 38th Senatorial District.
in 2012, Dr. Woods has received a Certificate of Recognition from the State of California Senate "for outstanding dedication to education for over 25 years, a passion for helping students realize their true potential, and exemplary service on the Grossmont Union High School Board."
International Network of Leadership Institutes Vision Statement
EBI International is committed to developing leaders in under-served communities utilizing the open university model. As an international network of leadership institutes, the digital academic resources are provided at no cost to local institutes and communities.
The vision is to impact entire underserved communities with the training, passion, and skills necessary to succeed by partnering with local associations and institutions of higher learning.
Over 1,300 leaders have received training through EBI Leadership Institutes in the United States, Mexico, South America, and Africa.
Student-leaders are trained in transformation leadership, mentoring, relationship building, communication skills, servant leadership, team leadership, conflict resolution, administration, and community outreach-building.
